Summary
On March 2, 2022, the Bureau will host a public workshop to discuss proposed regulations to create a remedial training process for automotive repair dealers (ARD) that receive a citation for violations of the Automotive Repair Act.
As provided by AB 471 (Low, Chapter 372, Statutes of 2021), the draft regulations include a process to certify remedial training providers, course content for remedial training, and a process for Bureau approval of training courses submitted by certified providers.
