Take BAR's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Survey
The Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) is pleased to announce an important initiative aimed at enhancing its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-16-22 mandates all state agencies and departments to take additional actions to incorporate equity analysis and considerations into their strategic plans and develop DEI objectives to guide policies, programs, and services.
This year, BAR adopted its 2023–2027 Strategic Plan and is now conducting a survey to help in the development of additional DEI objectives for the plan. The survey is an important step in helping BAR build an inclusive and engaging work environment that leverages diversity for the benefit of all employees and the people the organization serves.
BAR invites all stakeholders to share their opinions by taking the survey. The survey will take 3-5 minutes to complete and all responses are confidential and anonymous. BAR values the unique experiences and viewpoints of its stakeholders and encourages maximum participation which will help in the development of a strong DEI strategy and further advance opportunities and access to the professions and services BAR regulates.
