Education/Experience

Select the statement below which best identifies the level of experience and/or education you have completed:

I possess a valid, unexpired Advanced Technician license.

I possess an Advanced Technician license that expired within the last 12 months.

Required Certification
Check all of the BAR-certified education requirements that you have fulfilled. You must have completed all of them to continue.

You must complete all of the following requirements:

Current Electrical/Electronic Systems (20-hour BAR-certified course) OR Current ASE Certification in Electrical/Electronic Systems (A6)

Current Engine Performance (24-hour BAR-certified course) OR Current ASE Certification in Engine Performance (A8)

Current Advanced Engine Performance/Emission Systems (28-hour BAR-certified course) OR Current ASE Certification in Advanced Engine performance (L1)

Required Update Training
Check the BAR-certified education requirement that you have fulfilled. You must have completed this to continue.

You must complete the following requirement:

Update Training Course (Required per Lic Exp Date)

Remember: Applicants must meet all requirements to be eligible for the issuance of a renewal license.
